Transit of Venus

On 5th & 6th June, we experienced a rare and magical transit of Venus across the Sun. This really is a once in a lifetime event, as the next one doesn't happen til 2117!

Venus of course, is the Roman Goddess of  love, beauty and pleasure -  and so she strongly affects affairs of the heart.  She also represents women - that is, the feminine expression of unconditional love, compassion and wisdom. Some astrologers believe that the effect of this transit will be to pass on some of that influence to Earthly events.

Some of you may have been lucky enough to see it. Here in Argyll, the clouds were conspiring against us. Thankfully, there are folks that do this stuff for a living and here, in glorious HD is NASA's footage of the event.
